Victorian antique ladies bedroom boudoir salon nursing tub armchair chair

Turned tapering walnut finished front legs with later fitted brass cup castors

Splay legs to the rear

Circular form seat with classic Bergere style back with deep buttoning to the upholstery

Quality heavy chair and very comfortable

Date: Circa 1890

Condition:
The chair is in good condition for its age, firm of joint. The upholstery is generally in good condition, however there is a small cut in the upholstery on the seat, otherwise reasonably clean with a little wear on the back. Otherwise requires a light clean or possibly could be re-upholstered. The springing is firm. The upholstery was originally pink however has now faded more to a light brown colour
