The wood is dark but I am not sure what!
There is sympathetically repaired damage that was done before my time, it has been in my family since late 1960's early 70's and cherished!
The door is an original door which has been stripped of all old paints and then fully renovated to include full repairs to any old handle areas etc.
A simple image of leaded light clear but textured glass known as Cathedral glass in plain leaded light squares / rectangle often used for a simple exterior door, vestibule door or seen quite often in the main rooms in a 1930's property such as the lounge , dining or the kitchen at the end of a hallway so it allows light. . This design would look fine in any shape of the top panel be it square with shape as seen, oval, rectangle or round as the design is very much a central design.
Made from superb qulaity soft wood and manufactured in the old fashioned way using mortise and tenon jointing.
This door had stained glass made to order from a design we have taken from an original door and the glass is muted
colours and textures to make it look as original as it possibly could.
